From Ukraine to Crochet Love Toys
My name is Svitlana, and I am the creator behind Crochet Love Toys. Although I spent many years working in different professions, creativity has always been a part of who I am. I have always loved making things with my hands and finding beauty in small details. In 2022, after arriving in the United States from Ukraine, crochet became more than a hobby. During a time of change and uncertainty, it brought comfort, peace, and a sense of purpose.
What began as small handmade gifts for my granddaughter soon became something much bigger. Family members, friends, and neighbors started asking for their own crochet animals, holiday decorations, and custom creations. The smiles these little toys brought to children and adults inspired me to continue creating. Today, every toy is still handmade by me, one stitch at a time, with the same care and love that went into the very first creation.
